The Father's Legacy
In the 1950s, Mr. Brown's father mastered low-and-slow Texas BBQ and passed that tradition down like a family heirloom — smoke, fire, patience and all.
A Cooler and a Dream
When his dad passed in 2003, Mr. Brown honored him the only way that felt right — a Styrofoam cooler of brisket burritos and the courage to never stop trying.
Midland's First Food Truck
That cooler became Midland's very first food truck — one that rolled all the way to AT&T Stadium and helped spark a 300+ truck movement across West Texas.
A Home to Call Our Own
The brick-and-mortar opened in 2016-2017, built to feel like someone's living room — walls lined with memorabilia, license plates, and awards, with Mr. Brown greeting every guest at the door.
A Table for Everyone
Real hospitality means nobody gets left out — so we built a full plant-based menu with Beyond, Impossible, house-made vegan queso, and fan favorites like the Macc Daddy. Everyone's welcome at Brown's.
